I moved to Brooklyn from California in July of 2008, along with my boyfriend and our Italian Greyhound Napoleon. Napoleon will be 2 years old in July, and was a rescue from South Dakota that I found on Petfinder. We have been busy settling in (and coping with our first cold winter ever) and now that the sun has emerged, we are looking forward to having soms springtime fun.
We have been to another Manhattan-based meetup for IGs, which Napoleon enjoyed thoroughly, but I thought it would be great if we could get a group together in Brooklyn since I have seen lots of IGs out and about here, and Napoleon adores hanging out with his own kind.
So, I am starting a Brooklyn-based Italian Greyhound playdate group. I have a small list of people already interested in getting our IG's together, but I would love to gather more!
Hopefully the meet-ups could be monthly, and rotate around Brooklyn, based on where people in the group are located and where there are fully-fenced play areas available.
